Hi everyone! I'm Divinefairy and I'm looking for a linkshell/guild.
I'll be rejoining the ranks of FFXIV come ARR with a new fresh character, with a focus on both sides of the game (crafting/battle). I did not enjoy 1.0 and quickly unsubbed from that version of the game.
Who I Am:
I have over 10 years experience in online gaming, specifically in FFXI, WoW, WAR, SWTOR. In all of these games I played extensive end game content (where there was any ). I'm not going to sit here as an elitist and write out what the 'dipz' meters say about my classes (we all have good days and bad ), suffice it to say I make sure I know what I'm doing and that I'm making a tangible contribution to whatever community I am a part of. This is true in terms of 'putting out', knowing mechanics and reacting accordingly, and being a part of the social aspect of gaming.
My combat class focus is tanking, as well as DPSing on an as need basis. I'm dynamic in that I'll paradigm shift over to any class that's needed to get a job done.
I am 'hardcore' in nature because I take gaming seriously, I'm not hardcore, though. I work 5 days a week from 8, getting home around 7 and don't have the time I once did to raid or group every day.
I enjoy teaching my guild/LS mates about fights and mechanics, and frequently take the lead on getting people up to speed. I think making every person the best they can be will contribute to making the LS go farther.
I firmly believe that the interests of the LS/guild community come first, and that members are a representative of the guild in game.
In terms of play times, as said during the week I get home usually around 7:00 EST. I play mostly on weekends when I do not work. A guild I join would need events to not run past 11 or 12 PM EST, since I need my beauty sleep .
I Still Haven't Found... What I'm Looking For:
I am looking for a community of players in ARR that are preferrably rolling fresh characters, but I'd consider joining an older LS from 1.0 as well.
If this sounds like something that you think would contribute to your community, I'd appreciate a private tell to me on these forums describing your guild, or with a link to the website that has such a description.
Just would like to add that I am not a role-player in the least, and will avoid joining communities where this is expected of members.
Thanks for your time.
