size clarification(it's been bugging me...)

Nvm people, math was wrong, forgot to make it 40,000KM^2. I feel stupid now lol, so ya'll are right. My bad

Alright people, this has been bugging me for a long time and I haven't said anything, but I'm going to now.

40.000KM = 24855.999999999996Miles

not 13000 or whatever you all keep saying.

If you don't feel like that's right, go look in your car, 60 mile mark, you see the little hundred by it? That's called a KM mark people.

1KM ='s about .6 a mile

40000*.6 = 24000

    While that is technically true, they're claiming 40,000 *square* kilometers, not just 40,000 kilometers. 40,000 square kilometers is 200km by 200km (200*200 = 40000). 200km is equal to 124.2799999 miles. 124.2799999*124.2799999 = about 15,445 square miles.
