Races and Classes

Do races really matter in this game at all? Is a wood elf just as good as a dark elf at being a rogue? I am wondering, I am thinking of going dark elf, but Im not sure yet... thanks

yes races do make a difference, but not a dramatic one. (eg a ratonga scout will always have far more agility than an ogre scout). some combinations are always better than others but this can be overcome with the various buffs in the game. the important thing is really just to play what you want to.
