Ok, I've tried searching for an answer to this, but every answer seems vague. I know the game is in open beta now, but will there be another wipe on Jan 9th(the next stage of open beta I think)?
The reason I ask is because I'm curious about pre-ordering. Can we even call it that if the game is in a live state? Anyway, I'd appreciate an in depth answer to this. Thanks.
I think the early management of this game will really define how it performs in the west. So far, I'm a bit skeptical.

there will be no wipe. so if you preorder now you can get a headstart essentially. It's very fun but the translations and UI need a lot of work still, fair warning.
also, there is some sort of level cap (I'm still new so not sure when it hits) during this beta phase, so you don't need to worry about being too far behind if you wait for release.
you can also do the 10 free hours and 1 hour each day after trial now to check it out.
cannot progress past chapter 1 in the storyline ( 1 of 4, I believe ) supposedly no wipe after this CB and launch is sometime in feb from what i understand

Despite there being a date of Jan 9th being thrown around, they haven't decided on an actual end date for CBT2.

On a side note for anyone who deleted a character and found out later that they couldn't get the deluxe package stuff back, they put this up
