Could you explain this please, i seem to have missed that part in my readings of this game.
The game uses 2 currencies:
1) Silver coins that come from drops and quest rewards. 2) Silver that comes from Gold(bought with real money) conversion and very limited kidnapping. I do not think there is any other way Silver comes into economy.
Thing is, in order to sell or buy something from other players, only Silver currency can be used. Silver coins have very limited use and can get you only very basic stuff, anything better you either need to craft it yourself, buy from other players or get a rare drop.
You also make a significant amount of unbound silver while your character works in their offline job.

Seriously spent 3 hours in this game running back and forth and only killed a couple of boars and wolves, and that's following the quests they gave me to do. I didn't experience any ganking or PvP with my new character though. Still, I'm not waiting several hours for a game to get good or reading through mountains of information online to make the game playable for me. If you introduce radically new systems, you really ought to do a good job of explaining them.Maybe hope (I'm doubtful though) they go through all the dialogue and text in the game and do a massive overhaul of it and add a completely new tutorial that makes sense and spends the appropriate amount of time explaining each new concept in the game and come back and play the game then, but right now I can't recommend it unless you have a lot of time on your hands to figure out everything that is going on in this MMO.I realize it's a sandbox MMO and you can do whatever you want, but I need to know what is available for me to do and how to at least get started in doing it.
My EXACT experience... Spent 3 hours doing Fedex quests and said this is for the birds and uninstalled. I may have put up with them if the combat wasn't so disconnected and delayed... And no, do not link that PvP YouTube video of the combat as it doesn't make the combat look any better...
Former xFire user... I only wanted a game tracker and messenger, not a screenshot taker, video recording, broadcasting piece of bloatware.

So you spent 3 hours running FedEx quests when you could have run the guide quests upto choosing a school and then doing spy jobs, kidnapping etc, or learnt gathering and crafting skills, Any game is rubbish if you just deliver stuff.

I love this game but I find myself hardly accomplishing much because im so confused on translations and lack of guides. But the community is super nice so far compared to other games and very helpful.
Prob best to keep this game confusing it keeps the kids and carebears out and keeps for nicer community
I get 14-20 L per kidnap, every time. You just need to know which type of player to focus on and where to do it so as to avoid any time-consuming hassle.
If you keep grabbing high-level players in the middle of Chengdu, you're doing it wrong.
I've been learning how to play this game a little bit more each time I log on. It is definitely confusing and the game does not explain very much how to do certain things. After playing for a several days, and I only get to play an hour a day...I have learned how to gather wood and farm things. I completed a couple spy missions which had good rewards. I was confused how to spy at first but after asking in the chat channels I was able to figure it out. I have become a chef and made some steamed bread...which was nice because I was getting very hungry and was not able to buy food from players because I don't have any unbound silver yet...I opened a stall and tried to sell some bread but I don't think I can have an offline store if I am not VIP...that kinda sucks. There is still so much I don't know how to do, like escort missions, I don't understand how getting new teleport points works, I haven't done team practice, I have not PVP'd yet but I did get ganked once in my own school. Not sure how to get my story line missions going...lots of stuff really. But I am having fun and sure I'll figure it out as I play more and research offline.

I heard if you sell your kidnapped victims to the same slave traders theyll like you more and in turn give you more money per slave.

No kidding? lol That's an interesting system they have going with the offline players.

Does that mean playing on Russian servers? What is the lag like then? Seems hard to believe it would run smooth being hosted in Russia.
Strangely, I'm having far less lag and connection issues on the RU servers then the NA ones.
I am from UK and its fine.

Then come try it during the full release when free players won't have the playing time limits.

If you are extremely lucky only and calling it "significant amount" is vastly exaggerated...
The point is, offline jobs providing Silver are very rare, usual pay off is in Silver Coins.
The hour per day won't be in after release. Or, alternatively, if you buy the deluxe edition it also removes it.

Everyone gets an offline job if one is available, regardless of VIP status...
Don't you worry your time will come...

But only VIP gets extra unbound silver from offline jobs and kidnaps.
You get a little unbound for kidnapping but mostly just a few wen, i never got unbound for offline jobs as non vip so i assume thats true.
