Price is not a problem as i can get both for around 50-60 bucks.

I suggest going to best buy and trying your hand on both of them (^__^)

I highly recommend the Nostromo, I got it because I was beginning to have hand issues, its made such a difference, took me a couple of weeks to get used to it but after you do you you never want to go back to a keyboard :)

My favorite feature would be the palm rest design, makes it so your hand doesnt get tired even after hours of use, and the thumb keys, oh how did I ever live without them!

I would also praise the firmware of the Nostromo, very stable and offers you so much customisation.

You wont regret getting one mate :)

I have a hard time buying either Razor or Logitech devices.  I have the Belkin Nostromo n52 which is a really good gaming pad.  I am not sure if Razor ruined it when they acquired it.  I would be nervous about Razor using cheap easy to break parts in order to save a few bucks.

I went for both brands because I have a razor naga mouse and it's over 12 months old with constant use and never a problem, all buttons still feel firm and no sign of wear.

Logitech I had a G15 gameing keyboard for 5 years and same as above never missed a beat so thats why i stuck to these two brands.

    ^ This, this, this.

Nothing anyone says is going to compare to actually putting your hand on something and seeing if it feels right immediately.

I can not remember winning or losing a single debate on the internet.

I'm looking for more info in regards to do they have any problems and what are they like from someone who has more use then just seeing and touching it on the self.

As i stated above I don't have the option to try them in a shop.

G15 and G19 keyboards have been around for a long time, and the LCD display is nice for Ventrilo and such (although past that is a bit gimmciky) - the G13 is based on those units, so it's fairly proven. I've had decent luck with Logitech stuff

The nostromo's also have been around for a while - Razer didn't do much to it from what it appears, but I've had hit or miss luck with Razer products: a few mice that died early on, although my primary mouse now is a Razer and it's held up for about a year so far...

If it were my money, I'd bet on Logitech.

As far as your mouse being a Razer - besides the looks, the software and everything else won't compliment it any better than the Logitech will.

I recently replaced my old Belkin version of the nostromo with the G13 and at least for me I couldn't be happier.  This is really a case of personal preference tbh.  Both gamepads offer exactly what they advertise and perform pretty much identical.   That said the way they feel when using them is definitely different and not really something anyone can comment on with regards to which would be better for you.  I also swapped out my Razer Naga for the Logitch G600 and once again I'm happy I did.  The old Naga, while a great MMO mouse, was just too small for my liking.  The Logitech G600 feels better while not really offering anything over the Naga.

The G13 just felt too awkward for me,  it sit's flat and some of the keys are hard to reach. The Belkin / razer keypad on the other hand has a more natural profile with easy to reach buttons.

I know you said you had it down to the two but can I suggest you also give the SteelSeries Merc Stealth a look? It is built into the keyboard which means less desktop space is used and I have found the angle and placement of the buttons are perfect. I also like that some of them are different heights, shapes and have indents or not. It makes it much easier to tell what you are hitting without looking.

Edit: Forgot to mention, every key on the keyboard is programable.

I have seen the keyboard and considering mine will be for a laptop which will travel with me i'd have to give it a miss.

I have the Nostromo, I love the way it fits my hand, although, I did discontinue use (not enough buttons)

the Macro software is top notch.
