Will Korean Live Require SSN?

Will the korean version of the game still require a Korean SSN to play come the 16th? I assume it will but figured I'd ask anyway.

Legal changes have mages games stop asking for the KSSN.

At least for the Open Beta which is today updating to Live, all that was required was a Korean Credit Card, and Korean Mobile Ph# capable of recieving/replying to texts. OR, playing from a Net Cafe and paying by the hour. :)

Any update on this since the game has launched in Korea now?

Have 2 sons, willing to sell one for game? (the trouble one) :)

Seriously though, if anyone can link a guide of how to create an account if it isn't requiring ssn fraud id love to do it. Did it in KAION. Was a blast.

They are no longer using KSSN's.  Regardless, you'll  still to have to commit some degree of fraud to get an account to Live. Korean Ph# and Bank account/CC, which while not as bad as SSN fraud is still not legal. And in some areas a VPN to skirt regional IP blocking.

Maybe China will open to western players, otherwise we wait until western release or break the law.

Shouldnt be too long, they were working on an english version well before the release in Korea. 3-8 months tops i would say, they seem to want to push this out pretty fast. The Release in Korea was kind of a shock, people thought there were months left to go then bam.........release time.

Just a heads up, the EULA changed at launch to specifically forbid the translation patch. Bannable offense for modification of game files.
