1. Download this kssn gen (at your own risk) : http://ragnarok.thaiware.com/cgi-bin/pafil...ction=file&id=9 (Or you can just use 10101010101)
2. Go here: https://secure.lineage2.co.kr/account/intro.asp
3. Click on the center button
4. After the page loads, click on the left radio box, then click on the center button
5. In this page you enter your name and kssn
      1st Input box : Your name
      2nd Input box : KSSN
6. Click on the center button
7. After that, click on the button all the way at the bottom
8. This page is a bit confusing, so I took a screenshot and translated most of what is needed:

   On the last box, in the first field, just copy & paste this after you click the button: ¼­¿ï
   Then choose an address from the list and your good to go.

This should help out alot of people who wanted to try lineage2 but had no idea how to make an account. I am extremely jealous of anyone who is playing lineage2 right now, the client d-loads so mind numbingly slow for me i want to throw my computer in the ocean and nuke it from space.

OKay, a little bit confused here. #1: When you play on the "English" Server, is the language in English, such as NPCS, quests, etc... because after looking at the screenshots, its in Korean but you selected the "English" server, so if its English Server, I'm guessing it must be in English...

and Secondly, The first link you gave is very confusing...It is Ragnarok online file and I downloaded it and It Open up MSDos and told me to type in Y8 because if your birthday is in 1983 you type Y8, but what the hell is that file? And it just closed....Help.

that file is a korean social security generator, instead of using that, you could just use the 10101010101 as your korean social security number, also, i think turning the english option ON makes monster names, equipment, and item info into english, from what i've heard, NPC's still talk to you in korean though.

I'm completely clueless as to all that jargon about setting up an account so im just gonna ask *someone* to set the account up for me  and then have them email me the accnt info since quite a few people have already done it, so yeah ..... *hint hint*

Question about the KSSN, it says the First box you put your name, Ok so I put my name, then the second box, it says i put my KSSN, but I am confused because the Second Line has two boxes, I put in the 1010 thing and it didnt fit, So then I tried putting it in the second box, it came up as "stars" im guessing that means its a password, can anyone help?

sounds like the first box is your name, and then the other box that gives you the *'s is where you put the kssn? i don't know, only assuming

Well, the thing is, i played lineage I beta, well, it was open, i think, was a while back, anyhow, i remember the game was in english, and the farthest away from american players was people over in europe.

well, i don't really know what you are asking... but i took this off the faq from the lineage2 site.

"Q: How far into development is the game?

We just launched an open beta test in Korea on July 9, 2003! Development on a North American version of the game is about 70% complete."

I don't know what they mean by "north american version" ... kind of afraid if they make a "north american version" the pvp will be toned down, i don't know why i say that though.

sonf of a bitch, 8 hours to download this damn lineage2 and i can't freakn instal it so i tried to extract all the files into a folder, but when i click the lineage2.exe i get some jargon about a missing DLL. fucking bananas i hate my comp right now

i think i know your problem, upon entering a city you need to make sure the option for english is turned off, same thing with leaving the city. if you are in the city you can turn the english on but you need to turn it back off when you leave the city.

Okay I will give that a try...not like it makes a big diff...very little is in english as is.

Yeah, I mean I cant wait to play this game but if its going to be in a different language, there would be no point for me to play, I would not understand a thing and it would not let time past by.

yeah, alot of the english speaking people aren't really playing this beta as their main mmorpg focus. just kind of seeing how it all plays out, and they might have an edge (due to already being able to grip the basics) when the english version of the game is released. i tried to d-load it but failed, so ill just wait for the english version i guess.

To increase your skills in spells, you go to a building in town that has trainers, some of them say priests for names, talk to anyone in their, and you can increase the level of a spell, like wind strike.
