What ado about traps?

I ran into two fire traps in the Catacombs, one right after the other, right before the room with the Tomb Nightmare. Every time I try to sneak past each one I set off the trap & die. The second time I try to pass them I CAN sneak past the traps with carefully placed steps. I have done this about four times, and it is the same story every time. Is there any way to disarm these traps?

you need to get the nercromancer spells to get past the traps

Ahhh, this now makes three places in Old Ascalon where you need/should "party"(only two if you are a Necromancer).

That area is part of the Necro profession quest. If you don't have a secondary profession, just go talk to the Necro trainer (just inside the Catacombs behind Ashford Abbey) and she will give you the skills you need. You just need an Animate spell (hint hint)
