n00b question

how do you keep your camera view behind your toon? i have read the book and just can't seem to find out the info i need. i might of missed it but not to sure.

my 2 cents that dont mean alot. image

    I think I know what you mean but I don't know that there is an answer to that. Movement in SWG to me is alittle lackiong, but are you trying to move with the mouse or the keyboard? I would really suggest mouse movement in SWG, just hold down the right mouse button, that locks the mouse movements to your character so when you pan the mouse the character moves as well and makes you run forward as well.

    trying both. i also agree its a lil to wanting about moving and camera in this game. kinda like the game so far but when i played last couldnt get to the bar at the bottom not sure what i did but wow what a mess i made.

    It sounds to me like he has enabled the free camera mode. The one you often use to move your mouse cursor freely around the screen (e.g. when crafting stuff).

    Pressing ALT (to toggle it on and off) should snap you back into over the shoulder camera mode. Mouse wheel decides the distance from first-person prespective to far behind and above your toon.

    I usually move like in KOTOR ... both mouse buttons pressed and navigating by moving the mouse around.

    uh...I think it is 0 on the numpad or the . on the numpad......if not just try every button while auto running forward (7 numpad)
