A few ideas I had floating about

I've been reading about a lot of people wanting to open up the zones and make the world seamless in Elder Scrolls Online. An idea I had that would let the developers keep what they've already got, and expand on the idea, is as follows. (Although it would still take quite a bit of work, I'm sure.)

I'm betting that it's safe to assume that within the current system you will have blocks to keep you from venturing into the other parts of Tamriel as you complete your personal storyline for your faction. However once you reach the the conclusion of your alliance's storyline, these boundries could disappear via phasing. Phase the zones to represent the aftermath of the conclusion of the story thus far, and then at the conclusion, your character could visit every phased zone on the map. This would also eliminate pointless ganking from the world pvp, as you could only travel into the phased zones that come after the main storyline has concluded.. Everybody who reached the "phase" would be already sufficently leveled, and would be on even ground with everybody else who completed their advancement up to that point. Could even throw in a few epic quests where one faction could attack another in these phased zones and put up an offensive. Cyrodil doens't always have to be the only front line, if one faction pushes hard enough on both the others.

I don't know just some ideas of what I thought would be cool. Anybody else have something they think could realistically work to open up Tamriel for full exploration? (I'm of an open world pvp slant, which is my reasoning behind it, but any ideas that could accomodate PVE'rs or RP'rs or such would be much welcome.)

I just think being forever confined to one third of the map and the center is a bit constricting.
