Need advice on a choice of MMO

Due to the current state of MMO's being not all that great I have been spending my free time whilst not at work on my PS3. This in turn has caused me to be a bit of a TV hogger as the PS3 is in our living room and this missus is slighty miffed.

I don't want to put it into another room and isolate myself which wouldn't be at all good so I have the idea to get myslef a non subscription MMO ( as a subscription would make me a slave to that MMO ) where I can play whenever she watches her shite on the TV.

I have my old LotRO account which has all the perks of a once subbed player, ie all the bags, lots of resources, gold and full characters to play with, so I would just need to buy the map packs for the account, or buy a new MMO.

My thoughts were with The Secret World which is a B2P game now and would cost me the same as the map packs in LotRO and would be a new gaming experience.

 

Only problem is which do I go for. Any advice will be taken into consideration and pro's and con's weighed out.

They're pretty similar games, though tsw needs a better pc, but has a better cash shop.

Cool. I'm hoping to find a buddy key to try out TSW as it does sound quite good and that my PC will run it.
