an idea for Trion :)

in ArcheAge

since companies take good ideas from other companies in this biz all the time (krono and chronoscrolls were originally plex werent they?)  why doesnt trion take an idea from SOE.

 

make a trion all access pass type of subscription option giving archeage and rift subs together for a discount, along with a few bucks worth of whatever points they're going to use for defiance.

 

make it, like, 50 bucks for 3 months or 17.99 a month for 1.

 

i'd pay it for archeage and rift.

    Subscribe to RIFT and get guaranteed beta access to Archeage.  Then, one sub gets a player access to both games.

    If in 1982 we played with the current mentality, we would have burned down all the pac man games since the red ghost was clearly OP. Instead we just got better at the game.

    I'd pay it in a heartbeat as long as AA turns out as good as it looks :)

    I think that something like that would work indeed. At least it would let gamers experience other games from the company's lineup. I'm down with that idea as well. :)

    I'll probably go as far as to say $14.99 for All access, since most players aren't going to increase total play time to play two games at once, time will be taken out of RIFT to play ArcheAge or vice versa, $14.99 seems like a fair deal.

     

    But I'm still all for B2P for ArcheAge, I think it makes more sense for the game, with the travel system I see in the game, selling convenience item like teleport scrolls, thing that doesn't offer any extra power, will work in this game.

    But it seems the game is going P2P, then I think the all access will be good.
