Problem with my account
Alright first of all I am not sure when I bought the game whether I got the EU or US version. I live in EU but often play games on the US servers if the game allows it.
When I try the free trial the existing account I have will not work. I created another one before the f2p announcement went in for the free trial so I have this other account too but since I have purchased and subscribed for the game I want to be able to use that earlier account to play obviously for the benefits. When I log in with my previously bought account which I bought when game launched and subbed for a couple of months I get a page that allows me to download the client but it will only allow me to launch the launcher which then does not allow me to download the game since it says I do not have a subscription.
So I have no idea how to get the client since the only client I can get is with the happy cloud one which is for the free trial but may not be for the account I had bought the game for. In fact I am sure it cannot be used because when I try to use the happy cloud one to log in with my previously subbed account it will not recognize it.

To check which version you own, see if you have an email with the receipt. If you bought the game through En Masse Entertainment, you have the US version. Otherwise it is the EU (Should be Frogster or possibly Gameforge).
As for the "no subscription" error, TERA doesn't go free to play until February 5th. So until the servers come back up from extended maintenance, you won't be able to log into the regular game with an expired account.
