in Everquest II
All this mumbo jumbo lately of WoW being the best, but then someone will argue and say EQ2 is the best and some knob will jump in and say Nexus:Kingdom of the Winds is best ~(www.nexustk.com go there and point and laugh and send mocking e-mails to the staff. please.) and the rest say FFXI.
so here i am, wondering to myself... which is the best? why is it the best? and which game should be getting my monthly money. i'm sick of sitting on the fence. can ya'll help me out?

I would have to say there is more than enough info on these boards posted already.
Go read around. I play 4-5 mmorpgs currently. I think that's the way to do it. Keeps 'em all fresh. I quit EQ2 on Feb. 24th and I just resigned last night. Lots of improvements have been made. I have yet to see if they will hold up but I do like what I see.
sure, that's easy for you... but i can't afford 4-5 MMORPG's monthly. starving college student as it is.. and i wanted real people feedback because i'm in the midst of a 4 year video game design program. so, seeing as you seem to have lots of experience around here... you should all know what you're gabbing about... right?

Ok I'll try to make it easy.
Eq2: Lots of content, a variety of races/classes, great graphics on a decent PC, leveling takes a bit more time, More fun while grouping, involving crafting system, SOE seems dedicated to it, no PVP
WoW: Overall a fun game, graphics look pretty cool even on lower end systems, able to solo most of the time, easier to level, some technical issues, PVP.
Guild Wars: Will be free, cool graphics, feels nore like a single player type game than an MMO, fun gameplay.
FF11: From what I hear (never played it) you HAVE to have a group to make any significant progress, helpful community, that's all I really know.
For other games just check around the boards and see what people have to say about them.

WOW did you just make fun of nexus tk. DUDE what the hell that game is awsome. It was my first MMO.Sure there web site makes it look dumb. But has the single best community ever. Has the simplest most addictive hunting system ever. Takes about 1 hr to learn how to play. The graphics dont mean everything to a game. I hate people like you. "OMG THIS GAME HAS 2D GRAPHICS THIS GAME SUCKS" which isnt always true. The game has a small player base which makes it extreamly easy to make friends and pretty much know everybody in the game. I played the game like crazy for 1 year and on and off for another 6 months. Ya the coustmer support sucks now (when i was playing it was half-way decent) The trading system is well thought out and easy to use and keeps people from stealing your items same goes for the grouping system. There are more quest then you probly know off because most people just say there is nothing to do but hunt. Now that they have added the vortex (brand new hunting place). The place added new item new bosses and new caves. The world is the perfect size considering how many people play it. You see people everywhere but they arnt crowded together like massive mobs.

I am gonna have to say this was a plug to promote the game (hence the hyperlink to one specific game and a dare to go there and see it). I don't buy into the OP's story at all.

I agree with Fadeus.... I suspect the originating message to be a plug for a game not even on the official watch list (look at the list to the left if confused).
May I please suggest an Admin remove this entire thread....
