Disappointed with MMORPG.com

A few months ago I received my first ever infraction.  Then a few days ago I received my first ever (in any forum, ever, including my days with BBS's back in the day.

I'm not going to name the name of the game both issues were regarding, but I am disappointed that they seem to have a pet game here that there seems to be no tolerance for cold, hard facts.

 

I've been a member for over 7 years and visited anonymously for a year or more prior to joining.  I have seen just about everything from 1999 going forward in regard to MMOs.  I'm not going to claim that I am some sort of experts, but something that I have a very good handle on is trends and the effect they are having on our genre.

 

I always felt that this site was a neutral place that we could speak our mind, inform people, and discuss current (gaming) events.  I've always felt safe here with the freedom to speak my mind.

 

I don't know how much I will be posting, not that I was a frequent poster here anyway (just look at my post number in relation to my join date).  Regardless, I have to say that I am disappointed with the changes around here.  

 

 

Yes, I realize that hardly anyone will care about my opinion (if any).  I just wanted to post my thoughts on the subject.  This may or may not be my final post here.  I don't know.

If you feel you were unfairly moderated, appeal it to MikeB, he sometimes agrees and reverses them, and more importantly, speaks with the mods to make sure the policies are clear.
