Ultima Online KR enhanced client? good, bad, ugly??

I'm dying for an MMO to tide me over until some of the other sandboxes and semi sandboxes(A little wiggle room for me, to keep the die-hard sandbox definers at bay).  I was looking at UO when I saw they had a 'newer' one dated 2007 with an enhanced client sometime after that.

The question on the table is whether or not it's worth investing some time in, or better to let sleeping dogs sleep.

I self identify as a monkey.

Absolutely wonderful photorealistic graphics.  Since they are HD painting like graphics, they are objectively better than WoW and any other modern 3D MMO's. I don't understand why KR isn't more popular, it's absolutely fantastic looking.

I went back and played UO unfortunately, I did not stick with it.  Even though I like the over all game...

-I could not get passed the old graphics and horrible movements of the characters, just feels way to clunky these days to enjoy.

-Also, regarding items in the game, I was adventuring and I had no idea what items were good and what was not, very unclear what makes an item valuable.

    Regarding the Enahanced client:

-The enchanced client had draw backs compared to the original 2d.  I found that most people in the game currently choose the old client for reasons of convenience and functionality.

It is a bummer EA could not update the client properly to enhance the gameplay value for UO, I would still be playing.

Last note:  I joined a guild and they helped me with my questions and with getting started again...  End all though was the advice to farm in a dungeon (Forgot the name) and skill up.  It just does not feel like it once did when it first came out..  most likely because I have played every MMO under the sun and UO is just way behind the times.

Still a fan of UO, great memories!
