    I felt obligated to inform all those who were interested in Mourning.  I notice that the screen shot on the mourning home page has changed.  Dont know what this means but I know some will want to know.

    I don't know. Maybe it's a ruse to put off the lien that's probably burning a hole in the sheriff's pocket? They could be itching to lock the doors and sell off the office contents. The proceeds just might buy the mayor a nice vacation somewhere.

    Huh.  I had no idea this game went so bad in the beginning.  Now what?  Everything fixed?

    First, preorders being billed too early, and then some mod went crazy with banning people who complained.  And then, the game being all nothing but a waste in money.  Now what?

    Dark and Light is in BETA. Don't expect a 100 % free game to play with and please people, keep an open mind. Its people like Infereno that taint the entire beta commmunity and beta process with premature obsevations.
    His posts on the official forums have been edited for NDA violations and such. I have little respect for those that can't respect the agreement that was signed. My guess is that someone is bearing a grudge for losing beta access and is now using his forum mod status as a vehicle to carry out his anger/disapointment.
    As far as feeling the need to protect us all by telling the "truth" about DnL and its shortcomings..I don't think the world need a game savior. And please don't refer to people with hope for DnL as fanbois..

    I guess things will get interesting in the next few weeks.  These new forums will be a full of ultra fanboism, devs and investors using fake names to hype there next go around.  As much as I hate even giving this game any attention I just can't help but watch this train wreck.  The funny thing is this game alwasy shoots it's self in the foot then blames the customers for their woes.

    You gotta give em A for effort. They haven't given up on making it. Many companies would have scraped it by now

    well actually i havent heard of this game.....and because of all the stuff that i have read about the game from this forum maybe i wont ever dare to play it..

    True you can't fault them for trying again. One would think with all the bad rep they've gotten they would have at least tried to pretend they were another company and rename the game and alter some of the elements of what they want to do for somewhat of a fresh start. It takes guts and confidence in their game or complete foolishness on a level we've never seen to come back with the same name of the game and company name. Maybe everyone has been fired, game bought out from someone else(with those in charge before staying on but no longer in control at all, etc), etc.

    It is like a train wreck or car accident. I'm really curious to see how things play out. Strangely enough this waiting to see how things turn out and what has happen to the game before has been more entertaining then the last several MMORPGs I've played.

    hehe I was thinking that too. I've followed this game for a year or more now, just reading the forums with pretty much no intention whatsoever of playing it. Just reading the forums on a semi daily basis has been much more entertaining than the last couple MMO titles I have tried.

    Really said and dissappointing news.. I never liked the way they treated ppl on thier forums or the way you had to post daily to get into beta testing, thats why i never did =) But it's disappoiting to learn that the nice concepts that RoT was going to offer will never be seen  most likely. Shame.

    I was sad to see this thread fall so far down into an abyss... With realms of torment, er, Mourning, er age of Mourning slowly trying to resurrect their website, I didnt want anyone to be lulled back into the title.... ::::40::
