What kind of budget is CU wanting to obtain? Do you have funding now markj?

I don't know if this has been answered already (we need a FAQ going).

1. How much you hope to get for this to happen?

2. Do you have funding by other means currently?

3. If for some sad reason funding is not up to task can we get refunds right? (I'm up for a few hundred!)

4.  Are you using in house engine, or one already being used by other games?

 

Sorry if these have been asked, but I can't find a site that shows everything we already know :P

Well 3 and 4 are the most important, so many kickstarter projects end with people getting screwed.  The game Engine is a huge deal as well, that makes developement a LONG time in the making vs using exsisting one.

 

Those are the 2 more important ones to start.

im pretty sure with kickstarter you do get charged until the goal is met. eg: the 2M.

Yah but if goal is met, but still not enough to make the game..you are still screwed. :P  The person who starts the kickstarter is only obligated by kickstarter rules, he does not have to give a dime back.  Just because lots do on good faith does not mean everyone could is all i'm saying.  I have personally lost $100 on it.
