What is more important for you:
having a lot of customization options for your character, so that there will never be a player who has the same skills,spec or whatever as you do or do you prefere very deep characters which take a long time to master.
A good mix of both is obviously the best and they don't stand in direct conflict, but they don't complement one another either.
