depends if you wanna pay for it or not? also depends on your play style: casual or hardcore, PvE or Pvp or both, etc.
from my part I can tell my best ever game is WoW, as you can be anything there, but you need to buy game(s) and pay 15$ sub. Plus may be you are already bored of WoW after like 5+ years of playing.
as WoW-style f2p, I like Forsaken World for nice looking graphic, dungeon finder, fly mounts, newbs friendly mentor system, "grind for not to pay" possibility. Game is not really push you to Item Shop, if you don't want to win PvP + do it in no time. Game keep you busy with lot of per hour running events. For negative parts I can mentioned some grind (not very hard too), small world and sometime repetitive content (which can be common description for most of MMO tho).
as original fight system and unique PvP, I can point Atlantica, but it depends on personal taste too.
Sorry I don't play hardcore or PvP only games so can't advise you there.
Hope my post helped.
try before buy, even if it's a game to avoid bad surprises. Worst surprises for me: Aion, GW2
Originally posted by dauntSilver Can you suggest to me your all time, #1, most favorite mmo? If you only had one mmo that you could recommend to everyone, lets hear what it would be!
I know you asked for only one, but I would recommend four. My all time favorite would be EVE Online, but if Iwas to recommend MMOs without knowing the other person's preferrence, I would put four MMOs out there:
EVE Online
Guild Wars 2
World of Warcraft
Age of Conan
In my opinion, a person trying all four of those is going to find one that pretty much covers a lot of what they'd be looking for in an MMO.
There isn't a "right" or "wrong" way to play, if you want to use a screwdriver to put nails into wood, have at it, simply don't complain when the guy next to you with the hammer is doing it much better and easier. - Allein "Graphics are often supplied by Engines that (some) MMORPG's are built in" - Spuffyre

currently playing: DDO, AOC, WoT, P101
SWG is probally my all time no 1 MMORPG.. Then followed by Darkfall..
Sadly they no longer exist..
Out of all the recent MMORPGs I guess the only decent one to note is TSW everything else is pretty boring and just copied wow... or just plain bad.
