HJ at EEE?

makkahmakkah Member Posts: 72

So on the official HJ boards, someone commented on the fact that they say Simutronics's name in the sign-up
egistration sheet.  They asked if it meant that Simu was gonna do an HJ booth, etc.  Simu-Melissa replied that it they were only showing "by appointment."

I consequently replied if that meant Simu was still planning not to show HJ off at E3 and she responded again that it was "by appointment."  I'm not a huge E3 follower, so do any of you know what this could mean?  Cuz I'm still concerned that they aren't doing a showing at all which I can only see as a disadvantage.

Basically means that they won't be showing it to just anyone who walks up to the booth at E3, they'll be setting up appointments for certain people to come in and see it (or whatever they happen to be showing off), generally behind closed doors, etc. So chances are there will be E3 coverage of it on various sites out there, here included.

Myself and Koltrane will be attending E3 this year representing MMORPG.com, reporting everything we can get our grubby lil paws on back to you guys. :)

Well this definitely puts my mind at ease.  I was afraid HJ would have NO exhibition whatsoever.  Anyways... yea.  Take good notes, folks ;)

Seeing that six HJ game masters are already planning on heading off to this year's SimuCon, there'll probably be some added info on HJ there.

So it's a little wierd... might prove to be interesting. I'll have to go to one some time. Probably Simucon 2018... image

Yes, we WILL be scheduling appointments with press.  In fact, I think we already have some time scheduled with MMORPG.com.

Adreal is also correct.  We will be running a couple of meetings/seminars about HJ at SimuCon.  We will probably have at least one related to becoming a GameMaster for HJ -> showing off our various GM tools.  And another one related to the status of HJ- where we'll show some of the game itself.

Definitely a good decision.  Glad to see the original decision was overturned.

I'm going to E3 too.  I think out of the mmorpg genre 3 upcoming games are going to be getting alot of press  Square's upcoming mmo, Ragnarok Online 2, and Hero's Journey.  This is mainly because they are looking visually great.

We will be showing HJ at Simucon. Essentially the same demo we showed at E3. Plus we're going to be doing a press tour as well. If there is enough interest, we could setup some public showings in various towns around the country....
