Basically, what they did was imply that they would be stand alones, but not commit to it. Blizzard products used to be good, and respectful to the gamer. I'm not so in love with them that I don't see where they changed into a money hounding empire. HotS may be good... Even if I was disappointed by D3 it doesn't mean they can't make good games. But I'm a little more publisher concious now and I'm not gonna overlook their behavior.

They certainly arnt hurting for money and they are going to make plenty of sales, its time for them to stop being so greedy.

Before you criticize someone, walk a mile in their shoes.
That way, if they get angry, they'll be a mile away... and barefoot.

Sarah Karrigan is carrying this game and doing it with style. I've never played Star Craft, any of them. They look Command and Conquer like and I was always more in to Rise of Nation and Alpha Centauri style sims. When I find out if I can run those types of extended PvE campaigns, I will go buy it and yes, the Advertisements here are what got my attention.

HotS was interesting, but just like WoL it came off as archaic, i kept comparing it to DoW, a series that they at least tried to add something to rts games in.

that was of course the thing that disappointed me the most about starcraft2, it's just the first game with pretty graphics and a few new ideas added into the mix.

i did like the evolution missions, and the things you can get during the campaign but over-all the gameplay really is rather dull.

then again i gave up on playing starcraft online years ago when the only way to win was to play the game the same way every time.

after playing DoW so much, it was hard to go back to melee only units and range only units, an awful throw back they should  have fixed in WoL.

Not sure if your talking about DoW2 but that game was awful, every missions was a handful of guys spawn at the bottom of the map and make they way to the top to fight same boss they fought in the previous missions... repeat, made it throuhg about 6 missions before I shelved that.  I just hope they have not ruined CoH2 by making it more like DoW2 than DoW1.
