Why not instead of titillating juvenite battle attires, they provide more believable armor, plus adult flirting / stripping / sex mechanics inside of the game?
What is more believable, a warrior woman that goes almost naked to battle, or a warrior woman that goes fully armored to battle and then returns to hometown to have hot steamy sex with her lover?
By the way, I'm fan of action or action-y MMOs, so I probably will give it a try.

Those that played dark elves in Lineage 2 are more than familiar with that view of their character.
and even that was decent, well DElves had a mix of both, decent clothes and completely silly pseudo bikini armor.....but it was fun.....

TBH if a game featured historical events, there would be realistic nudes, i mean, for example, the prehispanian cultures weren't exactly too fonds of using clothes and armor, same for african cultures and the island settlers of the pacific...
even in european culture, mostly the so called "celts" and other "galian" cultures there were people coming to battle almost naked...

dark elves in lineage 2 had some pretty damn scantily clad armors
I angered the clerk in a clothing shop today. She asked me what size I was and I said actual, because I am not to scale. I like vending machines 'cause snacks are better when they fall. This is entirely different than AoC, the two can't be compared. Conan aimed for realism in its nudity, evidenced by the lack of armor that reflects this kind of nudity (at least in the original game, haven't kept up with the expacs). It was only gratuitous at first because people playing the game made it so, but eventually they got over it and threw on some rather bland, but realistic, means of protecting themselves in battle. Mortal Online is the same. I like this kind of nudity in games, I like realism. I installed nude mods (for both genders) in Skyrim because when I take everything my victim owns, I want them literally left with nothing. Granted it comes with an unfortunate courier side affect, but that's a different discussion.
Scarlet Blade is gratuitous for the sake of it. Generally, I don't have a problem with this either. I don't care for it, but it's not something I'd rage on. What irks me is when its used as a gimmick to cover up terrible and bland gameplay. It's offensive that the devs actually think all they need to make this game interesting are pixelated breasts and f**k-me boots. The game has been out for a while, check out the videos or even play the original version yourself. It's bottom of the barrel amounts of drull. That Aeria was even able to get their hands on this is testament to its quality, they would have been crushed beneath the heels of bigger publishers had this game been worth fighting over.

what the Asians don't realise, is that 98% of females in MMORPG's are actually guys.
How many 400lb over 40 dudes that lives in their moms basements are gonna be creating these scantily clad characters? tons hahahaaha, yes, pun intended :P
no shit. A company who wants to bring soft porr into the mmo world. I,m sure its addressed to the male populations of mmos i doubt if it will be very popular with female players. Think ill pass on this one...
I just don't remember Funcom/AoC getting so much hate for doing the same thing.
It's a matter of degree. We knew those conanboobs were there, we just didn't get videos of them dancing around in assorted stripper outfits, while the company was preaching "variety". LOTS if variety, we've got 48DDD and 50DDDs!
Self-pity imprisons us in the walls of our own self-absorption. The whole world shrinks down to the size of our problem, and the more we dwell on it, the smaller we are and the larger the problem seems to grow.

I'm pretty sure the majority of complaints are coming from religious people, or just the influence of religion in general. The teaching that skin is bad, especially that of a woman. When we really think about it though, it's not an issue at all for people to fuss about when they themselves have no interest in playing a game like this. It's not about judging what others should or shouldn't play, but rather for devs to make games for everyone to enjoy.
Having been in the alpha and now the early closed beta, I have to say it is a fun game. You come to it for the boobs, but the game is quite competent, better than most of the mmos out there now to be honest.
Control is quick and responsive and not laggy. Graphics are similarly very nice, with fun varied animations for different attack abilities. It has the standard quest system. In a quest description, you can click on an item (say someone you are supposed to meet, a region, a mob type, etc) and your character will start running in that direction.
I'd say try it once it hits open beta if it at all appeals to you. Free to play so you have nothing to lose, but it is surprisingly polished. I was as amazed as anyone else when I started playing it. My first thoughts were, "Wow, this is an actual game that was competently done."

That wasn't a pun, just saying.

You realise you then typed almost a hunderd (I guessed) lines "not comparing" them?
