FYI, when I talk about building structures, it is so much more interesting than just towns as you folks have pointed out. If that's all that there was, well, that wouldn't be particularly new and/or interesting.
My eyes hurt from working on this Kickstarter rewards spreadsheet, it's truly an eye chart. OTOH, it just means that there are lots of rewards in it for our backers.
My apologies if this has already been discussed. I haven't been able to find anything.
How big is the world going to be? For example Warhammers zones were really small and when I first tried RVR in Warhammer I was really disappointed when I got to a keep and right next to it was another keep.. I knew it wasn't another DAoC but I didn't expect that and I just logged off and never logged back on.
I miss the the size of older games such as AC and DAOC.

I think PvP world must be even bigger than it's in daoc right now. If there will be for example 3000 ppl online on server and the only thing they can do is PvP then... you know what I mean ^^

It is inevitable to create a world big enough to sustain several solo-players, guilds and alliances build structures. Of course space is limited at some point, but it would be a major quit-point for a lot of people, if you roam the world and because a handful of people build something, you cannot enjoy moving across the map seeing nothing but what nature has provided us with.
This is perhaps one of the most important aspects of a game to me. I agree with what Mark said about calling a game a sandbox and how you need to be careful in doing that. I really hope for and encourage development of sandbox qualities in CU though.
What does sandbox mean to me? Open world, to an extent. For instance, player housing. One of the biggest disappointments to me is purchasing a house and then going to my "house", which is a door in a city. But it's the same door that all of the other players use to get into their "house". That doesn't seem very real or personal. Housing in DAOC was in it's own zone. But this zone had actual lots with individual houses. While it is in a type of "box" (zone) it also has a sandbox quality.
Character development through the use of different weapons and armors is a cool idea. While we no doubt will pick a character archtype at character creation, I would love to be able to play my character in many different ways. In essence not being stuck on rails that take you down a specific path, but being able to explore and experiment. I'm sure this is much more difficult to design and implement than a straight forward approach to class archtypes. If CU is going to be anything like DAoC then that would possibly include playing one character for a long time. Alts, while they existed in DAoC, were much more difficult to level up before /level 20. So people put a lot of effort into a specific character. My hope is that I can put time into a character without getting bored because I feel I am on rails.
Crafting/Building: I am excited about building in RvR. I would love to see building involved for crafting as well. Perhaps there are quarry's, forests and mines that could have lumbermills and other tools or buildings necessary for harvesting in these areas which are built by crafters. I hope the sandbox-ness of CU will involve crafters and builders in more aspects of the game.
