Decent game

Not sure how i stumbled upon this one.

The first imprssions of the game can be kind of a turn off...as a childish and low quality game i guess.

Once you get into the meat of the game its actually quite refreshing.

 

First of all this is in no way a wow clone.  Its actually different.  This game plays like an older zelda game.

 

Theres no skills, you get a melee weapon and gun, and theres a bomb too.  Combat is action combat.  Weapons can charge for a bigger hit, bombs have to be charged to use.

 

Theres an elemental damage system, and mobs have a weakness to one and resist another.  Gear is crafting based or player AH based.

 

The object, more or less, is to not get hit, and open all the gates to get to the elevator at the end, which will take you to a different level.

 

Theres mario style blocks to break, boxes to bust open for goodies, trees and shrubs that can be busted for coins.  Level are sort of puzzle like.

 

The energy system seems restrictive your first time running out of the stuff.  You get a free mist tank for signing up free.  Use it right off the bat.  Once your energy is out (about 10 elevator uses) you can buy more for in game currency, or use the cash shop.

Once you get a few days in as a free player, your able to easily make enough coin to buy more energy.  Cash shop means you can play non stop and save that coin.

Oh theres also two types of pvp.  Caputre point and bomberman style.  Its pretty fun given the gear system and combat.

 

The game is best classified as a zelda type arpg dungeon crawler.  Your not getting gear loot but heat to level up your gear (the only form of levels in game) and coins..along with items that you throw at bad guys.

 

Also the music in this game is fantastic.  very videogame like.  its actually an extremely addictive part of the game.

i posted a couple since i know some people really dig game music sometimes.

 

Anyway games free to try and good alternative when your burned out on quest grind and gear grind.
