At 40 its probly turning Green or Grey. I know at lv 38 mines turning blue now :(

But yea, its a very nice weapon, I found a 2h Crushing that is .1 sec slower. Can get a quest from one of the guys in S Qeynos tower to bring back proof of the Tomes of Life and Death, after you kill them come back and get it. Also a robe as an option, but I took the hammer :)

At lv 40 you can start the quest for the Bone Bladed Claymore to replace the SBH!

lol, you sure look whimpy next to that guy En1Gma (no offence). Thats an ogre I presume?

I find it amusing that they recycled the allmighty (not) SBH from EQ1. Say, are there many recycled items?

a lot of the big weapons from EQ1 are back in EQ2. this was done to help immerse the player in a familiar world.

But they did it in a cool way, they made them "Heratiges" items. You don't go camp some spawn for the items. But instead you usualy talk to an NPC that is researching the item, is related to the previous owner of it, or its been passed down over the years and you have to prove yourself worthy of it, and some give them to you after doing things thinking they are giving you some worthless item and screwing you over :p

The Halberd for instance you aquire while helping out a Dragoon that wants to reclaim the Nekulous forest for the Dark Elves again, but he sends you on some missions and such, and eventaly you aquire the halberd and he lets you keep it for saving his life etc.

Alot of the stories with them are actualy pretty well done.

beeing a EQ veteran (been playing EQ on and off since 98) I think this is a good move. I would appreciate to recognice some of the items, just as long as they got updated (both stats, graphics,  and quests to get em etc). And maybe some retribution can be given to some items that never got a chance in the über-eq society
