Loosing your composure on the internet is much easier because of less potential consequence. You just have to accept that some people ego are way too large and won't accept any different idea or criticism ! They perceive everything has personnal attack if it does not reflect their own idea.
It's the way of the internet. I still remember the hate of the Vn board back in the day. it's was amazing.
i usually dont fall so low, so when i started doing it, i realised i was much more passionate than i thought about CU lol
Bowbow (kob hunter) Infecto (kob cave shammy) and Thurka (troll warrior) on Merlin/Midgard DAoC Thurka on WAR
Eyelolloed That's because nothing really has come as close for me with the "welcome, please come along, the more the merrier", in either pve or pvp. It really was a very inclusive game, while still being a hard game. I guess that's why most of us are still looking for something else planetside 1 and city of heroes came close community wise, but one was pure pvp, the other 99% pve. Daoc was also a rare game that was 50/50 pve/pvp.

I see. What does that mean for CU though, that is strictly RvR? (isn't it? Or have I missed something?)
All of my posts are either intelligent, thought provoking, funny, satirical, sarcastic or intentionally disrespectful. Take your pick.
I get banned in the forums for games I love, so lets see if I do better in the forums for games I hate.
I enjoy the serenity of not caring what your opinion is.

True but DAoC was not as amazing as people seem to remember, I recall many really nasty players and encounters. Fins, soloers bellyaching about other players adding on their fights, 8-man complaining about anyone who dared to add on their 8v8 fights, the ToA greed, artifact ninjas, keep claim snobbery, alliance snobbery, guild snobbery, camp stealing, mob briefing, the 200+ man Albion zergs, RP farming.....I could go on and on. Also the forums could get extremely nasty and vindictive in a time where such things were actually quite rare,
Yes it was a good community on the whole, but most of the hate and problems came from the hardcore pvp players, the same players CU is targeting.
Best community? SWG, hands down for me.
Expresso gave me a Hearthstone beta key.....I'm so happy

I don't hate much, but I hate Apple© with a passion. If Steve Jobs was alive, I would punch him in the face.
