There are 20 reviews of why this game sucks on these forums, heres some things i found
- Combat feels 15 years old, this isnt an Everquest remake give us somethings new
- UI is shit
-PvP is not fun in the least
-MMOs pull you in, you really feel like you need to login to this game?
ONLY good thing is the graphics arent bad, but why play a game that isnt fun, play a little more you will agree with me and the thousands that are finding out every weekend this game is outdated before its release and will FAIL worse than Final Fantasy XIV
Did you even play the game? Seriously?
Pretty much the inverse of what you said is true.
1) The combat is in the style of TERA / GW2. There werent even any single player action RPGs 15 years ago that played like this.
2) The UI is perfect for the controls and combat.
3) PvP was amazingly good fun thanks to the action type combat and reduced effectiveness of potions.
4) This doesn't even make sense.
The only valid complaint would be that the graphics don't have the fidelity of TERA, GW2 or other newer MMOs. But instead you say that the graphics are good and complain about the combat. You are clearly just a troll. Probably didn't even get into the beta.

I agree...it was a very fun game....like I said in another post...it might not be "main course" worthy, but it is a great appetizer
Originally posted by MysteryB I mean its Cryptic Studios guys, Jack Emmert's first game was City of Heroes, he made it great than fucked it up and split to make Champions Online which had to go free to play after 1 year and wasnt a hit in the least, than lets not forget Star Trek Online which could have been so much more besides semi-fun space combat, and now people are wondering why Neverwinter isnt the game they thought it would be. I played last beta weekend, not impressed, nor was I expecting to be, because its Cryptic Studios and they fuck things up.
Actually yes.
I mean, both Champions and STO are no burner games. But both are solid, casual friendly, mainstream MMOs. I expected something along these lines, not THIS specialized niche game!
After all their experience with CO and STO, I had thought Neverwinter would be better, yes.

I just realized that you're also the OP of this thread. You like going off of what others say without formulating something yourself? You like bias assertments with nothing to say about how something or someone can improve themselves? Alright, what the rest of this thread has said about you is exactly how I feel.
You're the first person I have ever said this to in recent memory: You're not worth my or any one else's time. Welcome to ignore.
Due to frequent travel in my youth, English isn't something I consider my primary language (and thus I obtained quirky ways of writing). German and French were always easier for me despite my family being U.S. citizens for over a century. Spanish I learned as a requirement in school, Japanese and Korean I acquired for my youthful desire of anime and gaming (and also work now). I only debate in English to help me work with it (and limit things). In addition, I'm not smart enough to remain fluent in everything and typically need exposure to get in the groove of things again if I haven't heard it in a while. If you understand Mandarin, I know a little, but it has actually been a challenge and could use some help.
Also, I thoroughly enjoy debates and have accounts on over a dozen sites for this. If you wish to engage in such, please put effort in a post and provide sources -- I will then do the same with what I already wrote (if I didn't) as well as with my responses to your own. Expanding my information on a subject makes my stance either change or strengthen the next time I speak of it or write a thesis. Allow me to thank you sincerely for your time.

yea same already backed repop.. also star citizen.. so many games.. none i have seen have a robust system like the foundry to make your own dungeons and such though, so this aspect is pretty big for me in this game..

I really enjoy Neverwinter. It is a fun game. I love the simplistic game play, and fast pace action. I love how I feel powerful right off the bat; killing multiple enemies in one battle. I love how the city comes to life with npcs everywhere, moving about. I really like the stories that players are creating with the foundry. Is this the most innovative game?...No, but it is fun. Will I play other mmos?...Yes, of course, but this is free and will do for now. Stop complaining and move on to another game if you don't like Neverwinter; there are soooo many mmos out there for everyone's taste.

DDO lost me after 40 minutes.
I have played MMORPGs since 2000.
I expect this game to fail so badly but I will give it a go and I won't charge the developers for my time.

I wouldnt say it sucks outright..........There are good points. The foundry could turn into something huge.
That being said, the game is incredibly disappointing to say the least.
This was supposed to be NWN 3 in the beginning, that is the biggest thing I havent gotten over yet. We got this f2p soup sandwich instead.
