Cool ingame items

Is it still possible to find cool looking powerfull ingame gear, or has the cashshop taken over?

theres no gear on the cash shop beyond mounts and appearance gear

 

if you want gear only for appearance

- old and new raid gear have nice looking gear

most of it is not tradeable (except to alts on same acct)

 

seasonal events often have appearance gear

many of my characters are weilding sparklers as weapons from last years July 4rth

 

last halloween, players could quest for mummy wraps appearance  armor

if you own Age of Discovery,

you can add particle effects to your weapons
