Firefalls been beta for 2 years running.
Although that game is 100 times better than Neverwinter.

thinking back in all the games I have tested from the first CB stage i'd say NW has actually had about average test time overall.. actually i'd say it's really much much shorter overall since the closed testing isn't even online the majority of the time like many other CB tests I have done for extended periods of time
I angered the clerk in a clothing shop today. She asked me what size I was and I said actual, because I am not to scale. I like vending machines 'cause snacks are better when they fall. Good news, cant wait for release...the foundry is an amazing tool and I can already see a ton of content coming from it, I already have some old D&D stories ready to port into the game.
The MMO genre really needed a RPG for RPers and I have no problems if this game does not attract a SINGLE average MMO player, there are already a ton of humdrum themepark MMOs for them.
Funny you mention this: I have some as well. The first one I am going to use is .1e The Village of Hommel.

I usually try all games, but there are few minimum requirements before I will even consider to try:
3rd person view
mouse used for moving via pressing both buttons
Any1 can tell me if this game support mouse or one is doomed to WASD?
Otherwise does not look bad. My main are still swtor/wow/gw2, but I love to try anything new.
Default is third person view. Not even sure if it has first person view.
You can key bind to suit your playstyle but not sure about both mouse buttons. I key bind one of my extra mouse buttons for autorun so I can use mouse to move.
So if there is a final closed beta on the 12th April, would that allow people who were in previous closed beta to play as i was in that but have been having ISP problems and that weekend was totally gone for me (net losing every 2-10 minutes).
I am still having the same problem but net is purely intermittent, i have engineers comming out for teh 3rd time now (hopefully they will find the problem). But i would like to actually see tis game before making a decision on whether to get it or not.
