How about a drama MMO-dev movie?

An idea popped up last in my head last night...

I recently watched the movie "The Company Men" () I'm not usually much for drama movies but this one catched my attention somehow.

I was thinking, as a gamer, that the only thing I really cared about when trying out a new mmo is whether it's good or not! Simple it that! But let's have a little closer look at it. It's quite a big thing actually. There are people behind it, working people with homes, families, friends, dogs, cats, hobbies and what have you...

There are big moneys involved.

Crazy fans all over, the devs are sometimes welcomed as rockstars! (WAR-  )

There are folks who invests in stocks when they see an upcoming mmo with great potential. Like EA's SWTOR; http://www.videogamer.com/pc/star_wars_the_old_republic/news/ea_stock_drops_3_after_star_wars_the_old_republic_doubts.html

Now, some people just spend a couple of bucks but there are those who invest heavily...

We got the Fanbois as well as the Trolls in the forums wars. But who are they In Real Life?

And ofcourse we got those who actually gets laid off, like those in the movie The Company Men as I mentioned before...

Hmm, I've been trolling on the internet myself I got to admit. I never thought about those people before. I mean, it's only a game right? Guess not for everyone...

Could a drama movie about the rise and fall about a company/triple A mmo do as a movie?
