    The kickstarter is not looking good, but I hope it does fund for those that want to play it.  I may get it when it comes out, but I am uncertain on a couple things.  If it gets close, I may give a couple bucks to help push it, even if I don't like it, it isn't going to kill me.....Heck I paid for 2 copies of GW2 and I played one session and havent played it again, wasnt for me, and my wife played it like 3 times and didn't like it either.

    I had a lot of fun with WAR, and EA definitely played a big part in the handling of the game. However, not all the decisions can be placed on EA, and it's kinda difficult to really separate the bad decisions from those made by mythic and those made by the publisher.

    WAR was fun for me just because I could play a Warhammer Orc. I love those guys. 40k Orks are my favorite though. Additionally, I really enjoyed the PvP and public questing.

    But the class balance was out of whack and the servers were terrible. That's what killed the game for me. I don't know if these issues were due to Mythic's iincompetence, or EA not wanting to give Mythic the time and resources to fully devote to an MMO.

    EA sort of did the same thing with ToR. The game really lacked initial post-launch development and there were some really bad class imbalances.

    Aye, I personally despise EA as a company atm. They have a LONG track record of gutting good studios for a quick buck. That said, there were a LOT of issues w/ WAR.

    2/3rds of the game got scrapped shortly before release, tons of bugs and (as you mentioned) questionable class balance. I think that's more on Mythic than EA tbh. It shows they both bit off way more than they could chew, and as a result rushed certain features they shouldn't have. EA pushing launch just seems to have accelerated the problem. It's funny, though, because the PvP & IP was enough to keep me playing it for a while. I used to be a huge warhammer fan, but they've had a shortage of good games =/.
