I don't know anything about kickstarter, but I don't see why they cant just keep the 1.5m they got through pledges and work with that.
Seems really silly to raise all that money to just not fun the game at all, only because it didnt quite make the 2mil goal.
anyone else agree?

Yeah, if they don't hit 2M, they get nothing. Whole point of KS is to raise the amount of money you need to make the game.
MJ needs 2M from us to make CU. He does not need 1.5M. He does not need 1.6M. He needs 2M.
When you do a KS< you agree to to that, as it's the spirit of KS. YOu post what you need, else if they didn't, people could just put like "10M" and get 2.5M or something.
Indiegogo allows you to keep whatever money you make. Though Indiegogo is also full of stupid shit. Like "My sister lost her Iphone, help her get another" and it raises 1500$.
Help get Camelot Unchained made, a old-school MMORPG, with no hand holding!

some crowdfunding sites like indiegogo you can setup a flexable "goal" and if it's not reached the money will still go to the project. If setup for a fixed goal then all money will be returned to backers if it fails to reach the goal.. indiegogo charges as soon as you back a game while KS doesnt' take a dime till the goal is met and the KS is over.. so like said above they have made $0 so far and only get any money if it funds
Mkilbride beat me to it heh
I angered the clerk in a clothing shop today. She asked me what size I was and I said actual, because I am not to scale. I like vending machines 'cause snacks are better when they fall. If I buy a candy bar at a store, oftentimes, I will drop it... so that it achieves its maximum flavor potential. --Mitch Hedberg
