Well I don't think WoW is the best, it can be. But Blizzard has to put some effort in it. I am going back to SWG just to have something aside to play. Because after a couple of hours WoW gets boring. I hope Blizzard will make something of it soon.

Nope. If it was the best, it would be more addicting or appealing to more types of crowds.

Hardly...i found the graphics a bit nintendo 64ish yeah i know it fits the universe it takes place in.But hey when you pay an arm and a leg for a video card you want the graphics to look better than that.

I tried this game for a week and just found it....annoying....all the fanboi hype and marketing led me to beleive it was the best ever.

Far from it.It is at best an average game. Then again most mmo's are below average they are just falling in line nicely.

    Want to ENJOY an mmo?

Dont start a guild and dont be a leader or volunteer to be coleader or captain.

    Just play the damn game:)

too complex for 12 year olds, maybe. That's what makes the Eve community one of the best.
WoW and Eve are different types of MMORPG. The 'best' can only be based on your own style of gameplay. In terms of the pure concept then Eve is way better than WoW.
As for grind. Your probably so used to doing it now (in games like WoW) you play all games the same way. You do NOT need to grind in Eve.

Like i said, Eve has a great idea behind it, but it was very poorly implemented.

WoW is more grind then Eve? Get outta here! Have you even tried WoW? In 47 levels of playing WoW i grinded about 5 times, and 3 of those times was to loot specific item and not exp.

Since they released the expansion and level 4 agents they have added deadspace complexes and player owned structures as well as a bunch of new ships, they have introduced 2 new classes of ships in between the previous ones to make the transition to larger ships easier and they have been making other improvements to the game over time.
As far as "grinding for isk goes" in eve it is entirely optional to do so, sure you won't get all the big toys that the large alliances/corps play with, but then again you don't need them.
Seriously if the last time you played the game was before Exodus was released then give it another try, you will find a lot has changed for the better. It sounds like you tried the game ages ago and the opinion that you formed is not accurate with the current state of the game.
As far as WOW being the best MMORPG, hardly, they took a cookie cutter formula and plopped it into the warcraft universe, the devs are clueless and are making the same mistakes every other MMO developer has gone through rather than learning from others mistakes, sure their numbers are strong now but it's mostly based on their passed reputation, which they are ruining at break-neck speed.
Most of the Talent that made up the original Blizzard has left and now it's mostly just VU cronies in their place.

Yes, I played it right before exodus. Did the game change realy that much? What are main ISK earners right now? New ships are ok, but I think the point i was making is that Eve has more grind then WoW becuase of limited questing which leaves to eitehr doing mining all over, manufacturing or just hunting. The first 2 need a serious investment of time and resources so you cant really get right into that.
Ive seen a lot of movies and stories about highend Eve and Im sure it is very much rewarding and fun at that point, but to me its just not tangible to do a lot of boring stuff in order to get to the good stuff. In WoW, you can do everything from the first level - you can manufacture stuff you can actualy use, mine stuff as effectively as in higher levels, hunt/grind if you feel like it, hunt/quest/raid. You can do that in low levels, which you often cant do in Eve.

By far the best mmorpg on the market today.  Solo action is better than anything I have seen.  Group activities are fun and exciting.  Secondary systems are worthwhile.  Even though mmorpg's as a whole have a lot left to be improved, the best mmorpg has to be based upon what is availible not what it can become in the future.

I like it a lot, but I like playing more than one game at a time, too! :)

    Not for me.

I find combat very lackluster (53 Hunter when I quit), same old autoattack w/ specials and it's not very interestingly done. Game is built for soloing for most of the leveling process (grouping is VERY bad if you actually want to get decent exp) then drasticaly changes at lvl 55+ (where it's mostly large groups for 5+hour raids). Character creation is poor. Server stability is poor. Bugs are still in that were in beta. Game looks nice, but there are better looking MMO's that are older.

Granted, raids are something I hav no interest in, so my opinion is squewed about the end game. But I see nothing that makes WoW great. To me it's a rehash of other games, and with the tech problems they have had.......... Average at best.

Yes, it is the best MMORPG out now. Lookit whos paying the bills. Money talks sorry but all your opinions dont mean jack. Money talks BS walks. For casual and hordcore gamer alike, WoW is turning the gaming world on its ass. Sorry if you dont agree, but its true. Even the kiddies who frequent MMORPG.com know it. Look what game is highest rated image BOO YA

    At the moment YES.

I have played many many mmorpg's and only one has passed this one in the fun factor (Neocron in the last phases of the beta. NOT NC2, but the original NC1)

http://neocron-game.com/ - now totally F2P no cash-shops or micro transactions at all.
