F2P may be the way of the future, but ya know they dont make them like they used to
Proper Grammer & spelling are extra, corrections will be LOL at.

They will not refund the the cash that was spent. Not under any circumstances.
If it ever cam down to a wipe (and it won't), they would have to re-set the Zen and AD balances to the levels originally purchased. But that process will lead to many mistakes and complaints and much general unhappiness...
What about all the AD that was traded and used to buy items that people gave away to many many many others? Does anyone that accepted a generous gift from one of them get banned also? Is it fair for them to keep any items obtained this way and can Cryptic track all those transactions in a timely manner? Your not talking about a thousand players... your talking 10,000, maybe even 100,000+ who were a part of this. There were 100s on my server channel alone telling people how it worked and giving stuff away they purchased from the exploit.
That might very well be true.
However, by NOT doing so, they're leaving themselves vulnerable to legal action. This was quite clearly a screw up on Cryptic's end, and a MAJOR one at that. It's affected nearly everyone in their game, and many did spend money. We'll see what happens, but this whole situation is /popcorn worthy to say the least.
If a person spent money for zen and bought a 24 slot bag,how can they get away with not giving it back. They would have to do a zen refund for item's erased that were bought with zen.
They could refuse to refund the actual cash, but in reality I think that's a pr blow they don't want.
