I got banned and do not know why.

Hello!
I am curious if anyone can figure out a possible reason that i was banned.
Right now, as I wait for a response from the email I sent them, the only theory I have is logging into the game from two locations got me banned.
Weak, I know, but I can't figure it out.
I played for about a week with a friend (who is not banned) as a duo.
We did not do any suspicious foundry missions; probably only did three total, and none were 'exploitive'
I sold some items on the auction house, but I wouldn't want to, or know how, to do anything illegal there.
What the heck could I have done?
Casual gamer here; I am far from "Mr. Master Exploiter"

Usually when you get banned from games the email will tell you why.
Contact their customer support (assuming they reply) as only they will be able to tell you.
All I did was sell some items. I did not buy anything, and we are talking chump change here too.

I want to know why.
I did not get an email explaining my ban.
I went to the PW site and it said to email them.
So I emailed them, and they responded to tell me volume was high and to wait for another email.
It's only been about three business days.
check the email you used to setup the account... how could anyone here on mmorpg.com fathomably know why a random person under a different name got banned from a game hosted by a different company on a completely different site.
Still waiting for any actual info from PW.
I posted this here because I though someone might suggest a cause of being banned I did not think of.
Fyi, This ban has a wide net. I am banned from Neverwinter, Champions Online, Startrek Online, and the game message boards. So I can't access the Neverwinter boards.
Might have something to do with exploited AD, perhaps whoever bought your items used the exploit, and they traced the AD exchange to you. That's my best guess right now anyway.

Sounds like you did something bad... wait for an email from the developers and stop expecting anyone here to be able to rub a magic 8 ball if anything you're saying is remotely legit because honestly I think Obvious Troll is Obvious too

I think a lot of people posting on this site (and others) are just posting negative things about games, because it's "cool" or something.
Edit: I find it weird that I've been playing MMOs since 1991, and I've only been banned twice (both I deserved). Corpse camping is bad lol, even if they started it.
I just really like that picture. I have never been a Troll; it's not something I would enjoy doing.
Or perhaps I am a big fan of Cryptic's mmorpgs, starting with City of Heroes (so sad that it is gone)
I have a lifetime membership in Champions online.
So its a bit annoying to be banned.
Obviously I can't prove it, but I am not the exploiter type.
I remember years ago in Runescape being told I had to write a letter of apology to a Christian who felt I insulted him when I told him I was an atheist. He apparently claimed I was a devil worshipper and a GM told me to kiss and make up.
Then in LOTRO I said some unkind words about Islamic Terrorists and got a weekend ban. Nowadays when I log in to the game I always make sure to say "I highly recommend them".
So you better make a new account and start all over the chance you will get an answer soon is impossible !!!
Phising email?Maybe friend used your account .One more idea and i wouldn't put it past them.Perhaps they just banned all those AD exploiters and anyone who was tied into them ,example perhaps they sold item on AH and you bought that item.
You see any half assed effort would need to cross reference,but that is where it takes an enormous amount of work,so they most likely just banned everyone tied together and wait for complaints,then they will check out those individuals.
Good luck on any support LOL,typically emails from cash shop games is at least a week and your first response will be an automated response,you can bet on it.
Never forget 3 mile Island and never trust a government official or company spokesman.
It's a shared login server, doesn't matter what the severity of the crime is, a ban (mutes as well, since the chat servers are also shared, try whispering a friend in STO or CO while you're in NWO) in one game will affect the other two games as well.
That's why when there are problems with the login server, you can't get into any of the three games.
PW is crap man, I am quitting the game because of stuff like this. You could be a troll who knows but either way the truth is still true, PW has craptacular business practice and peole should boycott their products or associated ones.
Honestly I am not angry at Cryptic or PW.
However, it would be nice if they sent me an email explaining what happened.

Many times innocent players get banned during wide spread banning. People handing bans are also humans and bound to make mistakes.

don't hold your breath on a SS. As far as I am concerned OP is trolling. He wasn't banned and I wouldn't be surprised if he never even played the game. But, people fall for this, so they do it.
Well, it would surely be a waste of your time to review, but my post history proves I am not a troll.
I posted here in hopes of figuring out why I was banned.
