I don't like them. They are not enjoyable to look at. Where are all the boobs and the cleavage?
On a more serious note though... I'm glad at least one game has a more sensible advertising approach. Makes you realise how stupid all other companies consider MMO gamers. Worst of all, it seems to work.

The stranger thing for me is that you care. Somehow, I managed to visit this site daily, multiple times, and completely ignore not only the Scarlet Blade ads, but all of the other ones too. When I did notice them, I shrugged my shoulders and moved on. I never did see what all the fuss was about. Psychology, I guess.
A sure sign that you are in an old, dying paradigm/mindset, is when you are scared of new ideas and new technology. Don't feel bad. The world is moving on without you, and you are welcome to yell "Get Off My Lawn!" all you want while it happens. You cannot, however, stop an idea whose time has come.
I don't care about the ads I just like shiny things - be they ads or art pieces. I like art, I am active on quite a few graphics forums and I like to guess what message the shiny things convey.
The Scarlet Blade ads and other cleavage-heavy ads from other games.... I found them aggravating since they were incredibly disrespectful towards the audience. Part of that audience being me.
For the Scarlet Blade the ads were actually excusable since they made fun of the rest of the genre but I am just fed up of ads that think MMO gamers, the majority of us being young males of the Homo Sapiens species, will compulsively want to touch and click anything that displays boobs.

Any mention of the Secret World on mmorpg.com is refreshing. Sadly, Funcom probably had to pay big bucks to get the backdrop advertisement.
Now, if only the editorial staff would put up an article semi-regularly, as opposed to umpteenth above-the-fold article about flavor_of_the_month_mmo.
I'll take the brunette on the left then.
Try to be excellent to everyone you meet. You never know what someone else has seen or endured.
