There are no wild tigers in L.A. because there are no wild tigers in the United States. They aren't allowed to just run around because to tigers, people are just moving, soft shelled tamales.
You need to work on your logic.

I've been doing this for about 5-6 years. The most i devote to a MMO is 1 month. Some cuz they are entirely to easy and i have done everything it has to offer. Others i just get to bored with it. i have actually ran out of MMOs to play because of this.
I am also Including the many many Private servers of MMOs i have done as well
Game "hopping" is part of being a "gamer". I am a gamer, my friends are gamers, my sons are gamers. We are not "World of Warcrafters" or "Ultimaers" or "Evers", we are gamers. If a game piques my interest I check it out. I stop playing plenty of games, which include mmos, and hop to the next for many different reasons. Maybe boredom of WoW lobby ques, or LoLs repetitiveness, or Dark Souls' unforgiving combat, etc. Checking out games is what "gamers" do. Many people here are looking for new "lives" not games.
To me, it is just console based or FPS players coming in and changing the entire genre to their play style and lack of loyalty.
why does the entire MMO industry need to be dumbed down for players like you?
So players like me who prefer a deep long term games are left with nothing and the MMO's that are left continue to fail because players like you have no loyalty or commitment to begin with.
Some of you people just need to get a damn job so the daunting $15/mo doesn't make your entire world crumble.
I would pay $50/mo for a game I find worthy of my time... Unfortunately that is the price I was forced to pay
Sorry state this country is in, give me everything for free and with no effort or commitment of course the gaming industry will follow suit.
I just feel sorry for players like you ignorant to what MMO's once were or what they could be.
Just another sheep in the flock.
I am definitely not bitter.
There isn't a "right" or "wrong" way to play, if you want to use a screwdriver to put nails into wood, have at it, simply don't complain when the guy next to you with the hammer is doing it much better and easier. - Allein "Graphics are often supplied by Engines that (some) MMORPG's are built in" - Spuffyre

That was an example of steelwind's logic, not Velo's. Post hoc ergo propter hoc, dude.

Gotcher. There was a whooshing sound over my head somewhere that I missed.

In any event, people have game hopped for a long time. This is cited by developers as the reason that single player games have shorted the amount of content they offer. Developers aren't cheap, they just realized that a large part of their audience wasn't finishing the games. The audience didn't like it and the developers didn't like it.
Moving over to MMOs, it's a bit different. The original audience played MMOs a lot longer than the average gamer. When other gamers started playing MMOs, they started playing a lot longer than they usually did too, but not as long as that original audience. They still game hopped, just not as fast.
Fast forward to today when they can game hop faster than ever because Indie games are coming out with good quality, but a sub $20 price tag, and MMOs are coming out with F2P content. It allows them to game hop faster, but it's not turning game sitters into game hoppers. The difference with F2P games is that people can hop back into a game as fast as they hop out of a game. They aren't tied to it, so they play it because it's fun, not because they spend X number of dollars on it.
I can not remember winning or losing a single debate on the internet.
F2P games are not meant to be played for long periods of time. They are disposable money grabs, banking on the optimism of gamers & feeding off the disappointment they got from the last F2P game.
F2P = Lacking the quality & content to expect a subscription fee.

F2P is like watching the movie "Goodfellas" on network television. Every few minutes you are hit up by a commercial designed to fleece you & the best content is always removed.
That's why the trade document that first labeled F2P gamers as "disposable gamers" has almost become an internet meme now. You see a lot of references now to "disposable gamers."
I will never support freeloaders, no more subsidized gaming. My Blog

a subscription can take into account multiple times, and as such can constitute a fee from any number to any number
so your statment is wrong inherntly
F2P may be the way of the future, but ya know they dont make them like they used to Proper Grammer & spelling are extra, corrections will be LOL at.
The F2P madness hasn't really affected me. The major change is that I don't feel as obligated to join every beta just so I can try2decide. I'm spending even less time playing MMOs than before but that has more to do with lack of interest.
@OP What is your goal? hit cap on every F2P game or something?

That was funny but i think you hit the nail on the head, look at WoW right now.

This ^^
I hop in and out of games depending on my mood. It is much better than sticking to one game. Humans strive for varieties.
F2P is a good thing, in that regard. It let people hop with more ease.
I haven't been bunny hopping but one thing that I really do like is that with all of the F2P options out there I am able to try many different games that I would never have tried before.
I do not have this problems. I play only sub based games as I see them as only decent. As long as I have swtor, wow, gw2... and few others to play alternately, I'm happy. Gw2 here is only exception to rule, great game that really do not need to spend any money in shops and it is B2P.

Odd. I'm on here almost every day and searching the net a lot for home and work.
That is actually the first time I've ever heard that phrase.
I have heard, more often than not, that the free gamers in f2p are a critical part of the companies business plan.
