In mmos there's often lots of talk, well OFC not only talks the talk, but walks the walk! Because we're older we tend to be more responsible. All you older players out there know how irresponsible and selfish you tend to be when you're younger. Because we are a corp of Old Farts this is not an issue for our corporation.
OFC is a mining and trading corp in Empire Space. We're mid sized, so theres always lots of people around. We're also wealthy and own a POS. OFC looks after its members and to generalize,only loses members when they leave the game, join a PvP corp, or move into 0.0 space. Members don't leave because of inept leadership or annoying fellow corp members.
We also have a fighter wing for those so inclined.
I guess now would be a good time to explain the Corp Credis (CCs). Each week a member is expected to hand in 10CCs. Normally in the form of ore, or loot to be melted down, or isk, the cost of this is 1.25M. It only takes about 1-2 hrs mining to achieve this. OFC runs group mining opps on Wed and Sun to assist members to the work.
In return OFC sells cheap gear to its members through the corp shop, normally paid for in CCs.
We really don't want members who are only interested in what's in it for them. OFC does really well by having members who cooperate and get on, of course if you want to play solo its your choice. In OFC there are only 3 rules that I'm aware of,
1 - Be neutral
2 - Hand in your CCs
3 - Have fun
In fact there is now a 4th rule. Do not pay ransoms to pirates. If this causes excessive loss OFC will attempt to assist.
