And Path of Exile is such a dull unimaginative game. The only thing interesting about that game is the skill tree, which just feels like the game was developed by some kind of mathematician rather than a person with imagination.
A very dull world...not much competition at all. Marvel Heroes is a gorgeous exciting ARPG.
That's like saying Combat Flight Simulator 3 feels like Red Baron. Did Diablo 3 steal your lunch money or what? I do hope it's a good game but develop some perspective.
"Labeling Marvel Heroes the spiritual successor of Diablo 2 is bold, especially for a company unproven in the realm of triple-A releases. We now wonder if Marvel Heroes can live up to the expectations and whether or not its gameplay will be better suited for Diablo players who prefer the old to the new." http://gamerant.com/diablo-3-marvel-heroes/
From the perspective of a casual gamer, this game is the best. No need to level up to find fun and playing at times improved the character as with any other multiplayer game. The feeling of being powerful from the beginning is electrifying
It's a healthy way to play without stress and perfect to discharge your adrenaline.
Ya people talking a lot of crap about it, but I'm enjoying the hell out of the game and so is everyone I get to play with me. I've been having far more fun with it than I did in D3, and got Cable as a drop before the game went down so I have someone new to level. Taken Scarlet Witch and Storm through the campaign so far, still want to play it more. Something about huge swarms of enemies and phenomenal cosmic power that never gets old.
Bringing back all my love of the Ultimate Alliance games ;-; Now if they could just adjust the prices of the cash shop....
edit = some of your comments remind me why I facepalm every time I come to this site. When people say its better than D3, they're not talking about the effin' graphics or aesthetics, they're talking about the GAMEPLAY. Anyone can throw dead bodies and blood on a wall, by your logic that makes those games comparable to D3 regardless of what they are and how they play. MH is an ARPG made by the dude which, btw, is the origin of Diablo, if you can't see how this bears comparison between the two games, you're all just being stubborn and don't deserve the time it takes to type a response in the first place.

hmmm: "David was asked about Diablo 3 and gave his honest opinion and we stand by him 100 per cent. Marvel Heroes is David's vision and is the spiritual successor to Diablo 2" http://www.cinemablend.com/games/Marvel-Heroes-Spiritual-Successor-Diablo-2-Says-Gazillion-45953.html

That is a bit of a stretch.
I put D3 and POE way ahead of this.
