    I have seen her videos before,she is an adorable person,too bad she picked a CCP game to hang out in,i have little respect for CCP.I do congrats her on her  new role at CCP,i am sure she is a really good choice as i feel i am a very good judge of character.I would bet she is probably the best person CCP ever had on board.

    Never forget 3 mile Island and never trust a government official or company spokesman.

    I know her from her Youtube videos, and I know the EVE guys end girls from their forums and from in-game.

    In my eyes, she is a harmless girl who now found her first real job in her area of interest, and we should give her a chance to show what she can do for DUST.

    Still, the foaming mouths of some EVE players were amusing to watch: reminded me at times of ex-boyfriends whose ex now plays with another clique. :)

    I was thinking "why a friggn post on mintchip's getting hired?"  Then I looked at that thread, which I hadn't looked at since she first posted it and folks say "congrats".

    Misandry & Misogyny comments?  ...  ROFL!

    oh man, that is one hell of a funny thread farther in.  bunch of forum trolls, in full "troll armor", out bashing with their alts and such.

    I wouldn't have looked at that thread again except for this post on it.  Funny stuff and very "true to EVE" with the back & forth in it.

    The problem is she played EVE was going out with a number of people there, then she left, then she slagged off the community, then came back as a community manager.

     

    Now talking to multiple people I know who do hiring and firing, they would _never_ hire someone who insulted a community.

     

    Theres been no apology etc or a 'sudden' enlightenment. Strange anyone who expect us not to have a go at her.

     

    I still like her on facebook and follow her on twitter etc, I quite liked her videos until she went all free to play..

    Well, it's your opinion ofc, I've seen her videos, I've been in fleets with her, on comms in the same alliance and remembering the jibberish, attention seeking tearful drama she caused I have my doubts to say the least.

    She is useful for drawing attention as she is active on social media and has a following there.

    That would be the ONLY reason I can think of why CCP hired her, and maybe to put a cute face in front of the camera at Fanfest and Alliance tournaments.

    Although I don't have much hope for her to land a longterm contract, I wish her good luck.

    I'm quite sure she has said what many Dev's in EVE were never in a position to say. Let's face it, EVE is home to some of the biggest assholes in MMO gaming. The only difference between EVE and other games is the amount of influence they can project.

     

    Gratz to Mintchip. I think.. I don't know what she's in for.

    Eve may or may not be the home to some of the biggest assholes etc but we like it that way :)

    I wish her well anyway.

    I sometimes make spelling and grammar errors but I don't pretend it's because I'm using a phone
