Mafia MMORPG?

As you all know Fantasy is a big hit for MMORPG games, and lately alot of people have gotten tired of them, and of that theres alot of new creative ones coming out (Planetside and Pirates of the Burning Sea), but I myself am looking out for a new type, Mafia MMORPG, where it would be sort of the style of the game "Mafia" in the golden age of the La Cosa Nostra where players could form families and vie to control a thriving living city full of shopkeepers, workers, policemen in a seris of gang wars, rackteering, gambling, extortion and other things. I've heard concern over people just running around shooting each other (this happenes sometimes in mafia.org), but if the devs if it would be made could put a way to limit the killing, like if you had to authed by your boss for the ok to do it or something just to stop greifers like that, a Mafia MMORPG would be a great idea, you would start in a city and rise from a common thug to a Don of a powerful family. I was also thinking if they made something like that they would have to put permadeath in since it would not make sense if you killed a long time rival and then the gang was still there, so it would be like the Shadowbane guild city system expect alot more ruthless since once you would be dead, you had to start a other character, so that also says for a game like this, one character a server, if somedevs could make a game like this a Mafia MMORPG would be really good.

Bah, invisible limits. Doesnt sound like the mafia to me. Gotta ask your boss, pathetic, its the friggin mafia, what do you expect people to not be griefers? But goody-two-shoes? I mean c'mon.

Sounds good for the most part, but being in the Mafia you should have free reign. Sure, you take orders... but also you can take a hold of what you want.  Revolt against YOUR OWN DON,  wage mass wars on the other Families.  Buy businesses, Get people to pay for protection, rob banks.

Also, it would be cool to be a taxi driver - a business man - a guard - a banker.

Any of these options would be open to make the game a realistic mafia game. Too much work if you ask me.

If one does come out, im dropping World of Warcraft for this baby.
