Question about buddy program.

I was invited by a friend in december(Pretty sure he sent me a invite), anyway. I bought the game off of amazon after i got the invite and added it to my account. Now my question is, since i bought it from amazon which says in the TOS thing for the buddy program that they wouldn't get it for that but only if i bought the game from them(Didn't actually seem clear to me as to what was required aside from having the full game+game time).

Essentially wondering since i bought the game from another retailer aside from CCP sites and i wanted to add a plex to that account(from ingame him or someone else), would the person who referred me get another plex from the buddy rewards for me having added game time?

you will either have to buy time from CCP not a plex or buy the game from CCP to get the credit for a buddy invite. No outside Keys or Plex from in or out of game will work. I have been burned 3 times now

Something similar happened to me once (with another member of this forums, may I add). They guy I sent the invite bought the game and paid with paypal, which wasn't an elegible paying method at that time. I petitioned to CCP asking if anything could be done, and they ended up giving me a PLEX anyways.

So yeah, maybe they will give your mate a PLEX; maybe they won't, but I'd suggest at least trying to petition it, as they seem to care about player satisfaction.
