A recent well implemented re-incarnation of the old, nostalgia inducing First Star Online Stratics.

 

This is a 2D game, with a party based combat system, whereby different hirelings can be used within your party - these obviously become stronger throughout the game.

 

There is a huge emphasis on player interaction and PvP right from the start, as it's a small world, and PvP is a requirement to progressing. There is also a guild battle element. During this initial period, events and tournaments are being held daily, so check it out!

 

The grinding aspect is reasonably short, and the overall difficulty of the game is easy.
