Is it just me or is every game making girls look younger?

Are they trying to make teen boys grow up to be pedophiles or what.
They slap big boobs on a 12 year old girl and think it's ok to dress them like a prostitute in a video game? I understand making them look 18-21 but this is getting absurd! Do most guys really want a 12 year old with big boobs? Maybe a few but not enough to campaign every other game toward it.
This is a very disturbing trend and I fear this generation is paying the price.

No it's just you, most of us don't even think about things like that when playing a game, i've got a girlfriend to help me with that. At your age you would think you wouldn't be so bothered, seems you have the problem.
1) Sex sells.
2) Art style decides the fate of the character proportions.
3) who cares? Have you watched an Anime lately? This is the way girls have been portrayed for years, long before the current cash-grab crop of mmo's.
4) if you don't like something, leave it alone. Avoid it. Don't buy it. Don't support it. But, that being said, just like many things in life, you shouldn't presume that because you don't agree with something, it shouldn't exist for others to decide for themselves.
Hmm... I don't think anything has really changed. Asians have been throwing out at least what appeared to be 12 year old girls forever, though not specifically only MMO's, or even gaming at all. I think they're going for the cute factor, and unintentionally giving pedophiles fap material (though possibly intentionally as well to boost sales slightly.)
It's as likely to turn people into pedophiles as violent games would turn them into murderous sociopaths. It's just not happening.

It's quite the other way around. YOU lack the fantasy to foresee where this is all heading to. And no, I'm by far no purist. In real life I'd say I'm a nudist. There's no negative connotation with nudity where I'm coming from. I'm offended by absurdity, not by nudity.
Is it ok to cut peoples heads off in a game ? Have you ever done it then gone to see a doctor ?
1.) Pedophilia is an attraction to exclusively PRE-pubescent children. You're talking about the wrong disorder, since the boobies generally come with the whole puberty thing.
2.) Age of consent is vastly different in other countries. Stop basing everything on the United States and take a look at where these games were actually made and you'll start to see what's truly going on.
3.) Also some example wouldn't hurt your case. I don't recall from any games I've played any 12 year olds with massive racks wearing prostitute clothing. I've definately seen them in the 16ish category though in some games, but without those examples I'm putting this into the Hyperbole category.

Yeah, most countries the age of consent is far younger. They are far more liberal about it. The US has some of the highest age laws in the world (same with Australia, as an example). The conservatives are weird when it comes to that. But all/most of europe/asia, its like 12-14 and some places 16.
Its funny people complain about it in the US, but let their 9 year old watch peoples heads getting cut off in games and movies.

People in the US complain about everything. Some people are so bored in their lives that instead of finding something fun and exciting to do, they look for what's fun and exciting for others and make it their goal to cause those people to feel as miserable as they do.
And with social media nowadays, you can't even make a simple funny comment in jest without someone calling you a racist or a bigot or whatever else comes to mind.
What happen to the days when people lived their own lives and let others live the way they wanted? (Provided that they weren't mass murderers or the like :P)

anyone reading this ? It's the two most telling questions when you talk about this subject. It doesn't really matter what you say. When you answer those questions people either agree with everything or disagree with everything you have to say.

Something you dearly lack. Stop looking at things from your own limited cultural experiences and take a look at other cultures.
Specifically those that are involved in making many of the video games you play.
There is a specific reason why that will never happen, you want to know why? Because females are not fertile or even slightly capable of having a kid. Even those that are pedophiles are attracted to a girl that can have a baby.
You might be amazed to learn this but attraction between male and female is there for us a race to reproduce. Amazing right?
Your argument is similar to those against drugs like pot that say if its legal the whole state or area that its legalized in will have just a bunch of lazy hippies. But did you know that Washington expects to make 2 billion in taxes off of legalized weed.
And in Colorado there was a study done about how high is 'too high' to drive, comparing weed to alcohol. The finding was that most that got high wouldn't or didn't want to drive showing that it DOSN'T lower inhibition for a person to make a smart choice?

Pedophiles are clinically people who are ages 16 and older who have a sexual interest in prepubescent ( that means before puberty ) It can range from 11-13 and under. A true pedophile is the lowest of the low.
What you're referring to is Hebephilia and Ephebophilia. Those are ages 11-14 and 15-19. ( yes I had to look the actual names up :P )

C'mon, we're living in the same world, reading the same news. You KNOW that these things already happened and will happen (to some perverted souls). Not sure if it helps if kiddy sex is getting more and more tolerated through the backdoor.
Interesting example with your legalizing pot in colorado. Though somewhat off topic (and no, I'm not generally against legalizing marihuana) I've already seen reports in the global press about children in hospitals with serious overdoses due to pot in candies (go figure!). If this has any relation to the current thread than that any innocent, initially good idea can very quickly get out of control.
It's not just you. Our culture is changing. Old standards are fading and new ones are growing. I think it's a tragedy, but that's because I adhere to some old standards.
