in Final Fantasy XIV

I suggested the same thing on some of the other forums I use, but I was thinking.

We as a community should all play together! What better way to ensure that there's plenty of familiar faces in-game and on the board, right?

Since phase 3 is irrelevant, and everything will be deleted anyway, let's wait til phase 4. But let's all roll on the ULTROS server! :)

    The EU and NA servers will not be located in the same country right? If that is true, then it depends how good my latency is on NA servers: )

    I take it that legacy servers are those in which characters from 1.0 will be transferable?

    If MMORPG want to do this, I will add to it but I'm on Sargatanas and that's where I will be devoting most of my time.

    Is there a way we could get this stickied, with the purpose/reason being that it would be the easiest way to ensure new players/forum users can easily and readily identify which server board users will frequent?

    I can also amend the original post with the names of the official NA/EU/RP servers selected as well.

    I think it'd be a great way to organize the community too!~

    Dunno.  It being non-legacy excludes most of the posters here from joining.  This is probably true for a lot of the mods as well, since they seem to play a variety of games.

     

    It might get more recognition if a server where everyone can join is chosen or if there are two types recommended.

    Due to frequent travel in my youth, English isn't something I consider my primary language (and thus I obtained quirky ways of writing).  German and French were always easier for me despite my family being U.S. citizens for over a century.  Spanish I learned as a requirement in school, Japanese and Korean I acquired for my youthful desire of anime and gaming (and also work now).  I only debate in English to help me work with it (and limit things).  In addition, I'm not smart enough to remain fluent in everything and typically need exposure to get in the groove of things again if I haven't heard it in a while.  If you understand Mandarin, I know a little, but it has actually been a challenge and could use some help.

    Also, I thoroughly enjoy debates and have accounts on over a dozen sites for this.  If you wish to engage in such, please put effort in a post and provide sources -- I will then do the same with what I already wrote (if I didn't) as well as with my responses to your own.  Expanding my information on a subject makes my stance either change or strengthen the next time I speak of it or write a thesis.  Allow me to thank you sincerely for your time.

    Anyone can join on the legacy server, but legacy players can't transfer off the server, for about 6 months.

    There are guild(s) by MMOPRG.com in various games such as guild wars 2. It would be great to have one on FF, but I guess that depends if the staff play or not.

    Well... I'm taking the initiative here!

    I just pre-ordered my copy of the game. Any of you who are also pre-ordering/interested in playing, should all roll on Ultros come Phase 4. I didn't have a set server in place for P2 or P3.

    Hopefully the staff will also come to Ultros as well; I've been pushing for the GameFAQS community to do Ultros as well! :)

    Not a bad idea but my LC/FC are on Diabolos and I used to play in Diabolos in FFXI . BUt is still a really good idea
