I'm hoping to see a PS3 framerate improvement of some sort. Having a blast playing it too. Really feels like a final fantasy game...well except for the combat.

Those who subbed for a certain amount of time during 1.0 are legacy members. Their characters from the original release can be transferred ONLY to legacy servers for use in ARR.

Legacy is actually a confusing term. There was a legacy promotion as Striderbob mentioned, however the legacy servers apply to EVERY character created in 1.0. They can only be transfered to "legacy" servers, the rest will be fresh start servers. New players can start a character wherever they want.

To qualify for a legacy account you must have subscribed for at least 90 days before June 30th 2012.
Yes you only get legacy if you actually paid to play that POS
Any graphical, audio, or gameplay restrictions not seen in other mmos but found in FFXIV can be blamed on one thing. PS3
