Stop comparing this game to EVE! lmao

EVE isn't a shooter, hitting someone or missing them is only a factor of how long you have played and generated skill points by paying a subscription. This will be a SHOOTER, as in you will have to have actual skills not your char. If you don't know the difference you should definitely stick with EVE.

Will this be a MMORPG probably not, if not by design then by demand. Most of the gamers out there don't want to play dodgeball cause they aren't really competitive. They are quasi-competitive as in lemme whip out my epeen that I spent 3k hours building up to playing epic raids hitting the same 4 keys in the same order over and over.

This will be a game for gamers who know when they get beat, that THEY got beat and the answer to that is to get better at it. Not gamers who go buy a million gold off Chinese farmers and buy better gear.

Because of this it is a game I will enjoy, I don't mind getting beaten by someone who is infinitely better than me (not hard as I am old and slow). I hate MMO end-game PvP that is all gear based... going to the dentist is nore fun.

Actually a few hours ago I was looking up info on how things where going with Star Citizen, ended up watching the full kickstarter intro again. At that moment I thought EVE finaly get's some competition.

Star Citizen might have shooter feature's, meaning things go all be allot quicker in space compared to EVE, but SC is a Space-Sim. I consider EVE to also be more of a Space Sim MMORPG then just a MMORPG.

I think allot of people who love EVE feature's yet not playing it due to being restricted to a spaceship and slower pace action might be very interesting in Star Citizen. Heck even EVE players might have interest in this tittle.

Might still be a nichy game never the less, but I am sure interested in Star Citizen.
