Buying a PC

Hey,what do you guys think about buying this computer for 80$ cdn monthly,whats your opinon?

Alien Ware 51-550...Specs are:

Intel® Pentium® 4 Processor 550 w/ HT Technology 3.4GHz 1MB Cache

1GB Dual Channel DDR2 SDRAM at 533MHz - 2 x 512MB

NVIDIA® GeForce™ 6800 GT PCI Express 256MB DDR3 w/Digital and S-Video Out

160GB Serial ATA 7,200 RPM w/8MB Cache

I want it...it may be a little over priced..but its a good computer :P what do yous guys think?

I would go with a 939 socket AMD 64 3500+ with a SLI Board instead of a P4.

I agree. Also you may want to save yourself some money and build it yourself or have a friend throw it together if you dont know how.

I cant afford to build a new one , I need to be able to pay monthly.And i just checked to see if i can change the processer that comes with the computer but I cant,I'd have to buy it seperate .Or is the P4 and amd 64 35000 around the same price range?Coult sel one buy another

As soon as you said alien ware it made it bad, they over price everything. If you know how to put together a computer contact me and ill give you a nice list of parts for a good price (and I looked the alien ware monthly payment is basically signing up for a credit card provided by them) and if you don’t know how to build your own pc you may want to look into it as its often cheaper and allows you to know more about your computer and computers in general; and its fun ^_^

Yeah I guess ill just have to build a computer...but that means saving money.
